Hi, I'm Dan Fallak, and I am the founder of Versatile Brands Inc.
In the past 9 years I've built and launched many brands by relying on my sharp eye for market trends, an understanding of consumer behaviour and my instincts that tell me what kinds of things people want to purchase.
VBI is my launching pad for the products and brands that I develop and believe have a place in the market. While we continue to build the brands currently launched, we're also constantly working to discover and develop more things that people will want.
To date, we're proud to have sold hundreds of thousands of products direct to customers online, in person and via our wholesale partners. VBI products have graced shelves in over 1,000 retail doors across North America, including major retail chains like Urban Outfitters, Saks 5th Ave, Indigo, Marshalls & TJ Maxx.

We offer wholesale focused consulting services for DTC brands looking to expand their retail footprint and maintain a balanced omnichannel approach.
In the past we ran the wholesale growth team at Homesick Candles. In a short period of time, we secured new retail placements for Homesick with key retailers; which included buys from Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Paper Source, Neighborhood Goods, and L.L. Bean.
We also spearheaded the streamlining of their SMB wholesale operations by partnering with the team at Faire wholesale to make Homesick one of their very first enterprise level suppliers.
We have inroads with the buying teams for many major retail vendors.
We also have relationships with a variety of key rep groups, wholesale platforms, and retail placement associates.

Versatile Brands is a small local business that builds and launches super fun product lines and distributes them primarily through wholesale/retail relationships and online. Our product lines have graced the shelves of major chain retail like Indigo, Urban Outfitters, Macy's and Winners, AND 100's of independent gift shops. One of our lines was even featured on CBC's Dragons' Den where we got a deal for our pitch. Ranging from gift, to barware, to home decor, to novelty items, Versatile Brands' mission is to bring fun products that people will want to the market.
What is A Brand Co-Pilot?
Ever wanted to feel the rush of flying a plane? Well, while we don't have our own company jet (yet) what we can offer is an exciting and fast paced role as the primary support staff for the founder and CEO of Versatile Brands. This "Jack-or-Jill-of-all-trades" position requires a highly organized and driven self starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently in multiple roles without significant direction... basically we are looking for someone we can trust to take on some key projects and run with them. Your main goals as Brand Co-Pilot will be in helping to steer our portfolio of product lines towards new opportunities, to strengthen awareness, and provide stability, consistency and organization behind the scenes. The ideal Brand Co-Pilot is passionate about entrepreneurship, shopping local, retail, e-commerce, social media, and small businesses. Having a history of working for, or running your own product based business is an asset. In fact, as this is a part-time role, we do encourage entrepreneurs to apply and we are very open to you having your own side-hustle on the go since we truly value the entrepreneurial mindset.
Examples of projects that you as Brand Co-Pilot could work on but are not limited to:
develop and execute an outreach and follow up schedule for existing wholesale clients and new leads
organize and deliver on a social and email marketing calendar for direct to consumer clients
maintain customer service correspondence over email
plan product photography shoots
update e-commerce websites with new content
help in the development of new products / sku's
